Surface Pro 3 unveiled in NYC |

Microsoft has unveiled the “tablet that can replace your laptop”. It measures in at 9.1 mm thin and boasts the thinnest Intel core ever made. The Surface Pro 3 has a 12-inch 3:2 aspect ratio display with a 2160 x 1440-pixel resolution. It is also lighter than a Macbook Air!

Microsoft stated they “spent countless hours” with Intel successfully fitting the Core i7 into the fanless Surface Pro 3.

Also announced was a docking station AND 4k display support. It includes a new redesigned kickstand and a new Pen to encourage users to take notes on the Surface, trying to make it feel as “organic” as possible.
