Camera Phones
Even since before the age of smart phones, camera phones have been pretty popular. But since the new era, they have really taken off. Even the simplest of phones has a camera on it, as shown above. But has it really become to much. I mean, Nokia has a 16 megapixel camera on a phone. To me that’s ridiculous.
Camera phones are replacing regular point-and-shoot cameras. An iPhone 4s and an iPhone 5 record in 1080p, which is the same as my high-end Canon EOS 320HS point-and-shoot.
The question for today is, will camera phones eventually just take the place of point-and shoot cameras? The iPhone 4 has become the number one camera on Flickr, most of the pictures I see on FaceBook and Twitter nowadays are from Instagram, a Smartphone only app.
Only time will tell.
